Recruitment Department The Academy is always on the lookout for local talented young players. Should you or someone you know, wish to be considered for a trial please follow the procedure set forth below. Players between 9 and 18 years old are asked to send their playing CV and cover letter to the Academy via e mail at: informat; Josephine142@yahoo Please make sure to include the following - Your name - Your age and date of birth - Your approx height and weight - Your contact address and telephone number - Your current club - Your previous clubs played for - The previous clubs you have attended trials with - The school you attend - The position you play - Any representative honours such as school, districts, county etc ** Please include a fixture list of your current team making sure to include location and kick off time. Upon receipt of your contact the recruitment department will make a decision as to whether a scout will attend your games. Please note that we DO NOT accept or ask for money for a trial or place within the academy system and we will NEVER directly approach a child. Please be aware that our scouts carry club identification at all times. Anyone claiming to represent Birmingham City that does not adhere to the above is NOT an employee of Buns Academy and the appropriate authorities should be contacted. Due to the high volume of correspondence we receive, we regret that we are unable to reply to all of the requests we receive. Please do not duplicate requests or repeatedly contact us. We will keep all requests on file and will be in touch as we deem necessary.
