Red Cliffs Hotel Show & Shine, 2014. Date: 5th April, 2014. Location: Red Cliffs Hotel car park. My name is David Ralph and I am the manager of the Red Cliffs Hotel located at 25 Jacaranda Street, Red Cliffs. We are going to be holding a Show & Shine at the hotel with the aim to raise money to go towards local charities in the Sunraysia area. This years event is dedicated to breast cancer awareness. A local lady, Lyn has been diagnosed with breast cancer and we intend to help her as much as possible with not just moral support, but by raising funds to help alleviate the costs associated with her treatment, accommodation and other sundry expenses. This Show & Shine will be an annual event and we hope that it will grow and get bigger and better each year. Every year, our committee will elect a local charity or person that the profits will be donated to. Examples of this will be a local person requiring a wheel chair, or a person suffering from another terminal or life threatening illness. Now is the perfect time to get involved at the ground level and be a huge part of what we envision to be a famous event for the Show & Shine community Australia wide. This is a non profit event with all profits going directly to the nominated cause. We have a committee who oversee all the details, we have a bank account for the funds to go into, we are going to register as charitable organisation. We are looking for sponsorship from local businesses to help support this event. We need one major sponsor and as many minor sponsors as possible. What we can offer is the following; your companys name advertised both at the event and in all announcements of the event. The major sponsor will have the opportunity to set up a sales tent at the event with all sales going to that company. We will be advertising in the local news papers as well as on television, not to mention flyers and posters. We will get your company’s name out there for all to see and having your name attached to such a worthwhile cause will only be positive advertising for you. All we ask in return is that you donate a trophy towards winning entrants as well as a cash prize, you supply us with a banner or as many as you want to display on the location on the day. Whoever becomes our major sponsor will have first opportunity to be major sponsor the following year. Please remember that this event will only get bigger and better each year. Also don’t forget those charitable donations are able to be used in regards to taxation.
