Red is a 10-12 year old Arabian/Quarter Horse gelding. (Not completely sure of age) not registered. Previous owners say he was used for barrel racing, cutting and team roping. He has been being used for trick riding these past two years but not really cut out for it as much as other events. I could complete four tricks total on him including the hippodrome stand and single vaults off the side of him. I have been training Red to rear on command while I sit on his back. He is a super quick learner and is willing to do whatever you please. I have used him for the Webster Poker Rally two years in a row, and the HD ride at Teepee Creek Rodeo Grounds. Crosses water no problem. Loves to be the leader of the pack but is also a good follower. Stands good for farrier if he has a buddy beside him. He moves off of leg pressure and does not need a bit in his mouth. I have used just a halter for trail rides. With or without a bit he stops on a dime. He is a one of a kind horse. Not for super beginner riders but anybody can ride him. He has lots of speed! He loves attention and is super smart. Has had extensive training since the age of 3. A GOOD HOME IS A MUST. Do not miss out on this horse. Reason due to selling is I am saving up for a professional trick riding horse. Asking $4000.00 located in Grande Prairie AB.
