Restriction: Shit is a graphic verbal expletive and one of seven (7) dirty words which is prohibited from broadcast radio and television at ANY time. A version for television and radio was issued by Atlantic Records in the United States with the edited lyrics I threw your STUFF into a bag and pushed it down the stairs. Action(s) by Citizens Advocacy Group: It is strongly recommended that the operators of Television Jamaica Limited proactively issue a formal apology during prime time, in the form of still graphics with voice over, as remedial action, subject to public decency and regulatory guidelines. Failing which a letter will be sent to all four sponsors of the program and advertisers during the hour. This is also a breach of TVJs own internal standards. The program required adequate review before broadcast as it was not properly edited for content, hence the presence of the offensive term.
