Reflecting!!!! Homeless.... Selling Loose Newports ,Rescue Mission, Trenton Soup Kitchen & Wiggy! Donald Meekins.. Donald Meekins! It was 14 years ago Dec. 31, 2001 that you picked me up in your cab and took me over to my late grandfathers house on Brinton Ave. To see if my unemployment checks had finally come after being held up on Route 130 Postal Facility after the anthrax letter sent after 9-11 attacks in NYC that destroyed the WTC. You dropped me off downtown Trenton I only wanted two $50 phone cards that I could talk to my mother who had moved to Florida help her health and found out that she had cancer. Well bruh that phone was the 1st step in my recovery that if I could keep that on and be responsible enough to maintain the service I maybe could get other aspects of my life together! It started with the cheap phone I have pictured but 14 years later my service has been continual and yep the same phone # for 14 years! and March 25 will be 14 years Clean & Sober in my life! Just want to say thank you my brother my friend! That phone got me to Cali Dakween OCali who told I could come out big shout to Joyce Williams thanks for helping when I lived at The Rescue Mission of Trenton Latasha Ingram thank you dear for the friendship during a crazy time in my life!
