Reflecting on an important time in my professional and personal - TopicsExpress

Reflecting on an important time in my professional and personal life. I worked most of my life in the entertainment industry and made a concerted decision to get my masters right after 9/11. For my thesis I wrote about the importance of not sacrificing customer experience with a new thing in the tourism industry - booking travel online. Can you believe it was new? I have to shout out to some of the people I learned the most about management, leadership, integrity, business acumen, professional development, and growth. First - A lady who called me up in February and took the risk to hire me 3/28/04 - Mae C Bell. Many thanks to my bosses: Vince Fulghum, John Watts, John Jolly, Dianne Giannetto, and Tina Finch. Extra special, special thanks to all of the crew members I either hired, trained, worked with, the trainers, recruiters and especially the station directors and managers, the executives, those I had the honor of flying with, and the many I still call my friends. I have so many thoughts of my time there for just over 5 years. Vincent went to work with me every day for 5 months before he was born, Olivia was featured on a national print ad, and both of them flew more in those years than most people do in a lifetime. AirTran - thanks for the memories. The good and bad. Ups and downs. I am sad to see you go away today. A part of me will too.
