Reflecting on last night as we finally caught the stray dog that we have had around for a little over a month. At first I was cautious as he with each other. He would not let you close just bark at you. I began to feed him because every bone in his body you could see. A beautiful dog though. Finally with some time he began to get closer and closer. A neighbor called the pound because he was eating her cat food. The pound could not get close. We continued to build a relationship, he now would let me rub his head some. All the time I know I can not keep this dog, he needed a home where he could be loved. It was evident someone had mistreated him in the past. We got some medication that would calm him down enough that I could catch him and take to a rescue. Sad but the best for him he can have a family that will love him. Thought! We are that way sometimes with God. We may have had a good relationship with Him and for some reason we strayed away and now afraid to come back. All the time God stands there with His arms wide open waiting on us to come to Him. Trust! is the word. Faith allows us to believe but trust will take us to His arms. It is when we trust Him that we are comforted and loved the way we should be. Dont stand a far off from God and miss what He has prepared for your life. TRUST HIM!
