Reflection Be the change! Dont vote them ! I was speaking to folks of the highest cadre in the church and I told them, you cannot use the same players in Aso Rock and expect to get a different result. If we need change, then we must be ready to keep aside petty sentiments of religion, tribal affiliations, political interests and their likes which at the moment aint helping us. In 1999 we voted on sentiments of a man who came out of prisons,and a Christian saying, he might understand what plight is, what the fear of the lord is, but did he? We gave him a second tenure, he proved the worse and demanded for a third!!!! , yet said at his book launch that he never made a public statement about that, that the governors did! Now, the governors again to this presentation one!! He will blame you! We voted so to say a Muslim, and he started well but God called him, good things dont last... It was time for Christians to take over, what did the holy guy do! He said it wasnt his tenure, not his agenda! When he was a vice to the tenure! So what were you doing there GEJ! We went to the pools and voted again on religious sentiments and gave him his tenure to prove himself,we failed woefully. We are just on top of the situation, they tell us. Today, I say to folks again, dont sheepishly vote some one on petty basis. Let us be the change we seek. It doesnt matter your colour or tribe, doesnt matter what your last name is, nor where you go to worship. Lets go into the records and see. Dont sell your conscience on petty gain. Be the change you seek. We cant use the same players and expect a different result. People shouldnt vote imposed candidates! Vote the right person, dont sell your vote. If at the end your best isnt the announced results, you will say, I did my best part. May God help us. Amen
