Regarding promoting my voice acting: Trying to think of a way to expand my social media profile. I already do the facebook thing, obviously. I have a Twitter account that I never use. Id like to start promoting myself on there as well. But nobody wants to follow someone who only posts spammy pleas for work. I need to think of a good narrative for Twitter which both helps promote me as a voice actor, and entertains and engages readers as well. My target audience is small video game developer groups. So, Im mulling over what kind of content would attract their attention. What would keep my personality in their mind when it comes time to hire voice actors? Then, theres the problem of how much effort I should dedicate to Twitter? Facebook destroys pretty much all other social media as far as numbers go. Would I be better off just focusing on facebook? Or does Twitter offer me something that facebook doesnt? What other social networking options are worth pursuing? I really wish I could afford a partner to handle all this biz crap for me.
