Regarding the 4 random things about me, my awesome Mother-in-law, Roberta Eckert (Bobby), responded by wanting to know the things that tickle my fancy: 1) I have a secret love of old musicals and own such movies as Camelot (my favorite movie of all times), Fiddler on the Roof, Finians Rainbow, The Man of La Mancha, and The Sound of Music. This has been a well kept secret for most of my life! 2) I also love classical music and listen to it almost exclusively when I am on long drives alone or at night when I work late. 3) I will often have ideas or solve problems in my dreams, and then try them when I awake and find that they really work. 4) When I was a kid, my favorite dessert was a root beer/chocolate ice cream float. 5) I once let my hair grow for several years without cutting it and it reached the small of my back. I went to a Mexican barber in the bad part of town in Gardena, California because someone told me he was a good barber. When I walked in, he said I looked really familiar. During my haircut (he liked to talk a lot), we discovered that he was a friend of my Grandfather, Stephen Morales, from Denver and they hung out together on Larimer Street in their youth. 6) Growing up in Lincoln Nebraska, my brother Stephen and I went to the swimming pool every day in summer and stayed there all day long. I once tried to overcome my fear of jumping off the 3rd tower, so I climbed to the top. When I got to the edge, I couldnt jump. The lifeguard was yelling at me through his bullhorn to jump, but I just couldnt. I went to the edge to look and a big gust of wind blew me off. 7) I love to draw, but stay away from drawing people because of their teeth. I cannot draw teeth. They always come out too big and all crooked.
