Registration for the KIDS ROCK Nashville Final Mile Finale is now open! This spring, our students can participate in a marathon - one mile at a time! Glendale makes it easy! Students will run one mile in each P.E. class through the spring and will be able to get most of the first 25 miles of the marathon done at school. On April 26th, students have a chance to run their final mile (or 1/2 mile for kindergarten) in a non-competitive, non-timed event that is all about having fun and making it to the finish line. This is a high-energy afternoon and a lot of fun for families who wish to participate. Students love the fun atmosphere at L.P. Field and the medals they receive for completing the race. Details of this event came home last week in a flier from P.E. class.. Registration is online at kidsrockpetitor/event-info/nashville/. Some partial scholarships are available if your student would like to participate but finances are limiting them. Contact Mrs. Susan Batiste for scholarship information. This will allow us to pick up your registration bib and t-shirt with the rest of our team and distribute them at the school before the event.
