Reiki (霊気?, /ˈreɪkiː/) is a spiritual practice developed in 1922 by Japanese Buddhist Mikao Usui, which has since been adapted by various teachers of varying traditions. It uses a technique commonly called palm healing or hands-on-healing as a form of alternative medicine. Through the use of this technique, practitioners are transferring universal energy (i.e., reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. At mystical offerings you can receive a variety of Reiki treatments as well as learning the technique and becoming a reiki healer yourself. There are two ways in which you can achieve this at our centre. Its vitally important that you connect with your Reiki master, therefore, contact would need to be made prior to accepting you onto a course. We have two people currently offering reiki qualifications in 2 different ways. You can either learn level 1 over a day course and practice over a number of weeks before moving onto your next level. The cost of level 1 and 2 combined is £200. This particular course is run in groups of 2 and offers a very personal way of learning. We are also offering an intense weekend course combining both level 1 and 2. The cost of this is £100 per person and is taught in a larger group (maximum of 10 people). This is an extremely intense course and requires a lot of concentration and commitment. You would also be required to carry out at least 2 treatments over the weekend.
