Rejoice And Be Glad “And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day - TopicsExpress

Rejoice And Be Glad “And the LORD said unto Joshua, This day have I rolled away the reproach of Egypt from off you. Wherefore the name of the place is called Gilgal unto this day.” Joshua 5:9 The children of Israel have crossed Jordan on their way to the Promise Land. Look at the scripture above again, I want you to take note of two words there. He said “this day”, today. As at the time he was saying this they have not possessed the land, in fact, they had not entered Jericho, because Jericho was the first city, but God said “this day”. Is it that he did not see Jericho and all other cities they had to conquer? Of course, He saw them. Then what was he trying to do? He wanted them to focus on what has been done. This day, I have already rolled away the reproach, this is the day the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it. You may have gone to bed with frustration last night after you walked all over the place and you didn’t see any manifestation, yet you woke up this morning. This is the day the Lord has made rejoice and be glad in it. He wants you to always rejoice in every day He has given to you. Nothing may have happened yesterday, but today is a brand new day. Don’t carry the frustration of yesterday into today. Today is a brand new day and God said this day have I done it. Do you know that if He could say that to people who were not born again, how much more you; for whom Jesus died and now He lives in you. He who spared not His son but freely gave Him, to us, how will He not with Him freely give us all things. Declare to yourself: This day has the Lord rolled away my failures, my disappointment and my reproach. This should be your faith and not what the enemy is telling you. God has silenced all your enemies, He has made evil to bow before you, the wicked at your gate and has elevated you. By the authority of heaven every waster in your life I command it destroyed. Whatever have been wasting the resources the Lord has in store for you, whatever has positioned itself as wasters of your health, wasters of your testimony, wasters of your breakthrough, of your life, I command them to be destroyed in Jesus name. Rejoice and be glad. Further Reading: Romans 8:28-39; Psalm 118:24 Daily Bible Reading: Morning: Psalms 79-80; Evening Romans 11:1-18
