Relationship Wednesday: A National football team captain got shot at his girlfriend’s crib last weekend. A tragedy for fans, friends, family. What about his girlfriend though? People have said many things. People have tried to even dictate what car she can drive. Shame. My view on this is actually quite simple: Somebody died that night, they are not coming back. Kinda like Reeva and Oscar, right? It doesn’t matter what anybody really says about the surviving partners, somebody’s child is gone. Money attracts money-likers, Kanye wrote “I ain’t saying’ she a gold digga… but she ain’t messin’ with no broke niggas”. I have yet to find a situation in the media that resembles the plot synopsis of “Pretty Woman”. Broke, ratchet chicks don’t often marry rich educated billionaires. It could be the other way around. Wealthy, wise women don’t date in the same pool as the guy pumping gas at Shell garage. it would be a great romantic story but rarely ever happens. In the same way of a Cinderella fairytale, frog kissed becomes a prince or even Shrek. Don’t believe me? 2Cor6:14 It’s not a judgement as to whether gold digging or diamond drilling is a crime, it’s just an indictment of access. You know me because you have access to Facebook. That village girl in Lombe doesn’t have a chance to know me, not even EDGE exists in those areas. So I say roll with it. Let Senzo’s Kwaps enjoy her ill-gotten gains. If he was alive he would be taking care of her expenses anyway. As it stands, Senzo wife will get mostly everything since the divorce wasn’t done. Both ladies get to live and carry on eating…Senzo doesn’t. So who is the real victim here?
