Relay For Life of Thurston Co. and Bark For Life of East Grays Harbor were both this weekend. First Relay Ive missed in years. Last year my team was Platinum for the first time ever. Im still bitter that we didnt get the recognition we worked so hard for at the event. Regardless, Ive become very cynical and I dont think that well ever Finish the Fight. The pharmaceutical companies, the Cancer Awareness organizations (and their executives) will NEVER allow their cash cow to dry up. Never. I filed the renewal for a charity today that really impressed me. 97% (!!!) of every dollar they raise goes to the program...definitely worth supporting!
