(Release Me From Behind A Computer By Purchasing My Book) Transcript Hello once again, this is Emmanuel Barbee founder and creator of the Grass Roots Community Activist Movement. Before I present my presentation I would like to say a prayer for those in war torn countries such as Iraq and Syria, I would also like to pray for my people in West Africa who is dealing with the spread of eboli. Lord JESUS we know that we are living in the last day and to said in your word there will be wars and rumors of wars. I am just praying for the innocent victims who are caught up in the midst of a crisis. Protect the innocent life and those who believe in you. I pray for my people who are trapped in American ghettos that are also under attack by urban terrorist have your way with those who continue to harm innocent people without a cause in Jesus name! On November 11, 2014 I will be hosting my last online conference on Google Plus Hangouts. from 5:00PM to 11:55PM Central Time I was told that there are one Billion users on Facebook alone. I invite everyone on Facebook, Google Plus, and all other social networks on the internet to come to my event. I will be discussing my revised book and my virtual organization. November eleven will mark twenty three years that I have been online networking and recruiting others to join my social groups. Those of you who prefer to hide behind a computer for the rest of your life I am not mad at ya. But for me, I want to move my virtual organization GRCAM from behind a computer starting in Chicago. I would like to talk with investors, philanthropist, and social entrepreneurs within the United States and from around the world. All I ask is that you read my book “The Solution For Black America: Reclaiming, Rebuilding, And Restoring The Urban Ghettos In America” Second. If you agree with my plan to improve Urban America then let’s talk business. The purpose why I wrote my book is because for twenty two years, I have been doing my best at trying to get established black organizations in my city to hear my ideas to improve our urban communities they dismiss my claim. I reached out to the faith community they too refuse to listen to what I have to offer. No black leader in the United States has a real plan on how to end urban violence in America. Since 2001, over four thousand people has been killed in Chicago alone and Chicago remains the murder capital in America. I turned to social media back in 1991, I am on 300 social networks and I have 125,000 people worldwide on my friends list. But to this day I only have three people on my advisory board this is unacceptable Black America! I am a member of four thousand groups on facebook alone to make my presence known and to broadcast my vision to improve Urban America but still I am unable to find thirty people to move from behind a computer and work with me face to face in getting my organization up and running. Since I lack the manpower and the capital to start my business I decided to write and publish my book in 2010 and 2012. I also decided to make my organization private to weed out small minded individuals. Currently I am focusing on Plan B: which is for me to find a legitimate film director or a play director who will read over my book and work with me in turning my book into a movie or a play. Once I am able to generate enough capital from my film and book sells then I will hire thirty qualified individuals within the United States to help me run my private school the Grass Roots Community Activist Institute OF Arts and Entertainment. They must be brave enough and smart enough to be on my team. They must have degrees or training in the following careers: Executive Assistant, Accountant, General Manager, Social Worker, Associate Director, Financial Planner, Marketing, Information Technology Coordinator, Grant Writer, Lawyer Development Assistant, Real Estate Broker, Business Manager Insurance Agent, Administrative Receptionist, Human Resource Manger Finance, Musician, Vocal Coach, Poet, Play Writers/ Film Makers, Actors/Actresses, Theater Director, Public Relation Specialist, Journalist, and Box Office Staff. My private school GRCAI will offer comedy, live entertainment, and local community news, all in one place under one roof. We will offer six basic classes ranging from Film Making, Performing Arts, Entrepreneurship Training, Journalism, Book Writing Workshop, and Financial Literacy. We will offer internships and give stipends to our students pending on our budget and sponsorship. My organization will create private employment within the organization which will provide legitimate jobs for our inner city youth and provide goods and services to single black mothers, single black fathers, and low income two parent families who reside in the low income African American community. The purpose of GRCAM is gather all social classes, investors, philanthropist, social entrepreneurs, all racial groups who want to work with me in improving our inner cities in America starting in Chicago. Those who work with me will go down in history for I share the limelight and I am only responsible for those under my leadership. Our first motto: one community, one city, and one state at a time. In GRCAM we stand against ignorance and I declare war on this Willie Lynch mentality which is harming our racial group. I come not to improve the current system (capitalism) but rather to offer an alternative system GRCAM. We all have seen what happen in Ferguson, Missouri where 66% of the town is black, 97% of the police are white; with a white mayor you have to wonder what is the voter turnout rate among African Americans in that community? If people of Ferguson really want social justice, they would get involved with politics and organize to get qualified people to run as a candidate who will represent the interest of the community. A Protest without a plan is a protest without an agenda or resolution. The modern public protest in the African American community continue to use past slogans No Justice No Peace but current black leaders lack a plan on how to solve our current issues within our community. If our young brothers and sisters would step back for a moment and looked at the current black leaders who always deliver speeches that have the same sound bites without real power to establish control over our communities, economic development, and social order in our institutions. Our black leaders have failed us they have become puppets for the financial elites to ensure that no agenda is reached. For example, every time there is a killing of a black person by a white police officer you will see Rev. Al Sharpton, Rev. Jessie Jacksons and the NAACP in the media, where are these same people when black on black crime takes place in Chicago? Our focus is on giving our youth a chance to express their natural talents by creating our own films, plays, and music. I would like to give every person who is working with me to have an opportunity to be in my films, plays, and music videos. The idea here is for us to unite other social entrepreneurs like me to help our students advertise, promote and grow their start up businesses and provide them with the resources to succeed in their business venture. This would allow me to create legitimate job opportunities for our clients and members who reside in our urban communities both on the local, state, and national level as well as international. This will help minimize high unemployment among our youth. I also would like to see everyone under my leadership reach their personal life goals and work directly with their immediate family members. Our agenda is to end urban violence, gun violence, poverty, structural inequality, institutionalized racism, and police brutality within the communities and cities we will serve if given a chance. Our political component will help write and pass laws which will be compatible with the dominant culture which will protect local residents and give community rights to those affected by bias in the current system. Once my organization is established we will hold both Rogue Cops and Urban Terrorist accountable for their actions and create laws aimed specifically at those who continue to destroy black life through our political component. I want to make Chicago a model first before we expand to 25 other cities within 25 states. First on the Westside of Chicago and then eventually on the Southside of Chicago. Once we’re established in Chicago I plan to expand my organization In the following states as mentioned in my book, which are as follows: Alabama; Arkansas; California; Connecticut; Florida; Georgia; Illinois; Indiana; Kansas; Louisiana; Maryland; Michigan; Minnesota; Mississippi; North Carolina; New Jersey; New York; Ohio; Oklahoma; Pennsylvania; Texas; Tennessee; Virginia; Washington; and Wisconsin. My vision goes beyond Urban America. Once my organization is established in 25 states I plan to expand abroad to Africa to start a chapter in 25 countries. We will wait until conditions of eboli bacteria is under control before we go to Liberia. We will go through the proper channels to get my organization as an NGO (Non-Government Organization) chapters in Ghana, Nigeria, South Africa, and do our research to see if people want and need our services. We will offer private employment to our clients and members based on our budget and sponsorship. This organization will provide infrastructure for clean running water, agricultural technology to feed the people, and most of all educate our people about the problems with Capitalism and show them an alternative GRCAM. We will also expand to Brazil and the Caribbean Islands to people that want and need our services. GRCAM is a new system given to me to share with those who understand kingdom principles and want to be a part of this new movement. My organization is open to all law abiding citizens, all racial groups, and undiscovered artist.
