Religion can never be a point of debate or a catalyst for blood shed.....(Analysis by Aks...) ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Jesus has never asked u to become a Christian, Lord Krisno never, advised u to become a Hindu, Hajrat has never meant that u are to become a Muslim and so are all other great saints of the world. All our revered religious books contain high thoughts, rather wisdom and means of social living. Some principles contradicts, may be. Bt, why do we fight amongst ourselves? At the time of birth and death, do we have a religious tag? Think like Samrat Akbar who introduced Din-Ilahi and, now, start loving each other simply as a human being. Let people improve and refine their lifestyle. Dont let anybody fall behind. Great Tagore states the ultimate fact Jare tumi paschate thelichho, se tomare paschate tanichhe (means the one you are pushing down is pulling u there in the same hell). Orthodoxism should not kill liberal thoughts and peaceful co-living. Can u give a life then why do u take it or create a situation that causes so. Jesus says Love thy neighbor as thyself. Hinduism is a religion of Universal fraternity- says Swami Vivekananda. Lalan, Najrul say there is no two religion. Love, friendship and fellow feeling should be the mantra. Shelter and rehabilitate all wretched souls. This will turn the world a heaven. Required is sincere attention, strong logic and convincing thoughts, acts and gestures. Ramkrishna experimented and preached Jato mat, tato path (means as many alternative paths guided by alternative means of worship, lead to same supreme power). This is like saying great men think alike or when u are a doctorate, all subjects look alike!. Love, compassion, sacrifice, fraternity, togetherness, help and assistance, tolerance, greedless-ness, piousness and self/mutual respect are desired attributes for peace and prosperity. (I wrote this article about a year back and sent it as a message to some of my favorite disciples...But, for the sake of benefit of many, I thought, I should publish it now....Aks..).
