Religion has caused more suffering & death than all wars combined. Blind faith is humanitys achilles heel, without which most wars would never have happened. Consider - what if there was no religion? Think about it! For one, most religions are a mix of stuff from what is considered pagan worship, a simple way of dismissing beliefs YOU dont accept. Then the mosaic of belief becomes fake since the source is already suspect - and this is the shit we fight over. We make-belive because we want to understand our own existence, but falter when we force stuff thats hardly believable in a quest to explain the unexplainable; yet we flex muscles & spew filth to all and we still call ourselves holy. It disconcerting, this war of faith, utterly silly to the extreme, but conviction takes such a huge chunk of reason we blindly follow tenacious mythology at the drop of a hat. What happened to truth? What happened to sense? I look at religious folk & I wonder; what the blazes do you guys imbibe?! No, really, what?
