Religion teaches 2day that if u want revival,u have to pray hard, infact fast & pray & beg GOD,plead with God,bombard heaven,try to manipulate & motivate God to send revival.the truth is, there is no scriptural model that teaches that, for revival to come 1 has to pray i knw what am saying shal surely offend som of us.bt shw me frm genesis to revelation were revival came to a pple thru prayer.GOD sent jonah to Niniveh to preach and when He(jonah)did,there was masiv revival frm man to beast also on the day of pentecost in acts 2, pple were saved & revival came only when Peter spoke the word of God wit boldnes.that goes to shw, dat revival doesnt com via prayer bt by speaking the word. Infact its the intercessors that get large amount of credit 4 dz,bcos it is believd dat man kind has sined, so God is angry & so the intercesors are basicaly beging God,pleading with HIM, saying,oh God,repent,please, turn bak to us,dnt impute our sin against us,oh God. Bt u see, these is wrong believing,cos God wants revival more than you want it,so why beg HIM 4 it. There are those who lock themselves up praying4 revival bt wud nt as much witnes to a neighbor & even if they do,they minister to them condemnation & so they reject it,cos the gospel (good news)is nt condemnation bt ...the power of God unto salvation (deliverance frm sin & its consequences) rom1:16.thus revival does nt com thru prayer bt by preaching Gods word and demonstration of the power of the SPIRIT.
