Remember Anastasia, the little cat in the walker with the sweetest face youve ever seen? At a first glance, we thought that Anastasia may have been hit by a car. But after a watchful eye and close medical attention, we believe she has a type of cartilage disorder. Certain movements and abnormal facial features give us indication that it may be a genetic condition involving weakened cartilage especially in her back legs. After our wellness team crafted a custom set of wheels for her, they worked with her several hours a week, ensuring that she get the exercise she needed to strengthen her legs. Ana got the hang of her walker very quickly and loved to chase the leaves outside and toys inside. We noticed how well she was improving - and recently, we captured this video of her not walking, but running down the halls! WITHOUT her walker! Can you believe it? The same little girl that was found abandoned in a ditch and unable to move, is now chasing everything that moves - on her own!
