Remember I posted about Gaza being flattened as if to prepare for infratstructure redevelopment? Read this carefully -- a VAST complex only nominally about just military resettlement is being planned for very close by to Gaza. Vast intelligence hubs, high tech companies, huge infrastructure, shopping, luxury real estate, vast telecom capability. SOMETHING very big is being facilitated in the region. I have been to Beer Sheva and the Negev. On its own there is not much to justify the huge investment in development there (via a PPP by the way -- private public partnership) or to justify investor certainty that a new high tech paradise is going to pay off (oh where Bedouins can work too in spite of their ancestral nomadic traditions).
