Remember Jack? Feral cat, FIV+, with horrific leg injury. Thanks - TopicsExpress

Remember Jack? Feral cat, FIV+, with horrific leg injury. Thanks to you, we were able to get him medical care and save his leg. Then he went to a medical foster home-- one of our volunteers who lived near the vet and who could get him back and forth to the vet several times a week for bandage changes. Jack was hyper-vigilant and miserable at the medical foster home. He hissed every time the foster mom came in the room. So we went for help to the woman who fed Jack for several years and who had trapped him to get him help. She said that she used to sit on the porch and read and talk to Jack. We were hoping he would remember their relationship and feel more comfortable fostering with her. The kind woman agreed to foster Jack and prepared her home for his arrival. Today we got this message and a picture: He is about a foot away. He will occasionally come over to sniff my foot or hand. He purrs a lot and often accompanies that with kneading his paws on the floor. This afternoon he rolled over with his belly in the air and just purred away. He likes to visit! Guess which picture is the one Jacks foster mom sent today versus ones that were taken in the medical foster home! We love Jacks foster mom! And Jack loves her too! He remembered her! #CatAidFund #MedicalHelpForHomelessCats
