Remember the 600,000 600,000 men of Israel (apart from women and children) left Egypt to the Promised Land. Only 2 out of 600,000 got to the Promised Land. These were Caleb and Joshua. The remaining 599,998 died in the wilderness. Apostle Joseph Ayodele Babalola had a revelation and God told him ‘’if the whole world will repent there is more than enough space for them in heaven for them but if they say they do not need repentance, those saint in heaven are already enough. The journey of Israelis from Egypt to the Canaan land was a symbol of our journey from earth to heaven. Wilderness symbolizes sin, suffering, temptations, time of trials, endurance test etc. Definitely, if God asked for excuse, oh! They would have produced a pathetic picture of what they were passing through. Moses their leader was not speared. Imagine 40 years of serving God. Remember twice he spent 40 days on the mount before God. Imagine examination body like NECO or WAEC or any higher institution conduct exam for 6000 students and only 2 are qualified for graduation. What will be government’s reaction? Surely the pass mark will be lowered to accommodate others to graduate and those in charge will be sacked. God does not lower his standard. Isaiah 55:9…and you cannot sack HIM. Who will contest His judgment? Who will say ok, God if you won’t permit me into heaven I will remain on earth, I will not die again. You cannot do anything against Him but for Him. In human court ‘Ignorant of the law is inexcusable’ God do not respect persons, no special consideration, No weaver like JAMB. Had it been its human judgment; they would have said; oh the wilderness condition is not easy lets wave the law. Friends, have you ever thought about all these? Reading this is an opportunity to repent and make necessary corrections. Have you fallen? We are still running the race, before the whistle is blown rise and move on.
