Remember the final scene of “Raiders of the Lost Ark,” with the giant government warehouse stacked high with crates? Turns out that’s not just a movie. The EPA’s inspector general inspected a 70,000-square-foot warehouse in Maryland that’s owned by the GSA and leased back to the EPA to store tons of what-knows-what, paid for by your tax dollars. Amid all the boxes and crates, they discovered that workers had hollowed out secret “man caves” – small spaces to goof off in, complete with TVs, couches, microwaves, refrigerators, pin-up calendars and more. They also found “deplorable” safety, security and hygiene lapses, ranging from an open box of passports to mold and vermin droppings. To put that picture out of your mind, try imagining what the EPA would do to any private company whose warehouse looked remotely like that. For more of the Huckabee Report visit MikeHuckabee.
