Remember this post? ..Well, what I didnt mention is that I also fussed at her because she told me she would not make it through 2014. I told her she be cray and how she needed to wait until I had at least 5 kids so she could babysit ...she laughed and kicked me out of bed. So I settled it and ask her to wait until I come back. She waited! First visit: She was sleeping the medicine off, heard my voice, teared up and smiled. Barely could talk but with her eyes still closed, she asked if I had any beer??? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA (I guess I look like a drive-thru bar) On my last visit, she was too weak to fuss. So I thought! I started moving her arms trying to make her comfortable in bed. She opened her left eye, gave me the side-eye look and with every bit of strength left inside, she - tried to yell but whispered instead: DEJAME EN PAZ! = LEAVE ME ALONE! Those were sweet words to my ears :) I laughed so hard! Her body was done but grumpy, fussy and loving Elaine was intact! WOOHOO! I LOVE THIS WOMAN!! She was forever concerned about me, my future, my husband, my kids, my finances, my career, she was all up in my BIZ!!! It is no wonder I dont stress about none of the above. She did all that stressing for me! She also prayed much and I am oh so grateful that God gifted me with time to return that favor and send her off praising Him and with a BIG SLOPPY KISS. Grandma Elaine started making her way to Heaven yesterday. Please pray for Jesus cuz she is gonna fuss at him fo sho! I miss the way she smells, her sense of humor, her tantrums and our wayyyy too detailed girl talk. I will miss her cooking but what truly concerns me is Whos going to put up with MY fussing now? Thank you for uplifting the Familia as we celebrate her 91 precious years of a very blessed life and her brand new and ETERNAL one!! REST IN FOREVER PEACE, GMA ELAINE!
