Remember when the 25 chicks came in the mail a little over 2 months ago? Denise McDonald Hopkins told me to put them in totes until their home got finished. So, I did. But there are 2 kinds and colors. The Easter chickens are brown and the others (idk there name) are white. Well I guess instinctively the OCD kicked in and I separated them in totes by color. Well when their home got done and they moved in they wouldnt have any thing to do with each other. It was like I screwed them up mentally. But, I am glad to say they are normal and mingle with each other. Plus yesterday one of the Easter chickens actually did the cock-a-doodle-do thingy. They should start laying eggs in the spring. I am excited to see the Easter ones cause they will be blue, mint green, tan and brown. They are pretty cool to watch. Especially when you feed them chicken nuggets or scrabbled eggs. Now thats recycling. 😂😂😂 But the thousands of honey bees are even more interesting to watch. Just more nerve racking where we are allergic to bees. 🐝🐓 pretty cool they are.
