Remember when you were a child and life was a lot simpler in comparison to how complex living is today. Some of us even had it rough from the womb. Now we are fighting for our Sacred Sites, Mother Earth, fighting for our identities as Indigenous People, clean water, clean air, fighting against dirty politics, corruption of every type and so many other injustices some with no resolutions. We must never keep silent but forever vigilant in the fight and struggle for what is right. When it all comes down to it I will go down fighting for my people if its the last thing I do, my Ancestors did this for me and I am willing do this for our future generations. Thankful to the Creator for his guidance and direction. ~A brief poem for you today by me Carl Allen Begay -Navajo Nation.
