Reminder: Please join citizens tonight and testify against Common Core in our schools. The School Board will discuss their agenda and open for testimony related to the agenda. At the end of the meeting there will be public testimony on any subject. This is when we would testify orally against Common Core. We are allowed 3 minutes and will be asked to finish. I urge testifiers to stop at that time as we do not want anything unpleasant to happen. Testifiers can use less time of course. If testifiers do not want to give oral testimony they can provide written testimony. If you do not want to give testimony you are encouraged to attend as it is also important to show support. This will be the first meeting with the new Superintendent and an excellent opportunity to give our thoughts on Common Core.
