Reminder... September 28 will be Ride ‘n Relax at the Flying L Guest Ranch – Bandera Texas. At last count, we had 31 rooms booked with 61 people already signed up to go. 44 of us are going up Friday afternoon to get a jump on the weekend and stretch that time as much as we can. We have arranged with Lee Adams of TX-K2 to lead a ride through this fabulous Texas Hill Country for those who may wish to go. We will be leaving the Flying L at 8 AM on Saturday morning and he has promised to make this a great ride with some of the best scenery the area has to offer. He also is planning a lunch stop and a visit to the Stonehenge replica on the way back. He plans to have us back to the Flying L by 2 or 2:30 so there will be plenty of time to freshen up for the evening festivities. Another surprise for those who come, we have gathered some door prizes that we will give away in drawings by the campfire Saturday evening. It is our way of showing our appreciation for the support you have given to the Texas District Staff. So, stop by the Colonel’s Quarters and pick up your free ticket for the drawings. Please get this word out to your membership so that anyone who may want to come up has the opportunity to participate. There are still some rooms available but the Colonel’s Quarters is sold out.
