Reminder about road closures beginning tomorrow night according to this statement from DPW released last week: In order to drive steel sheeting to address the breach south of Cleft Road on West Shore Road night time closings are necessary. Weather permitting, on Tuesday July 16 and Wednesday July 17 from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. the entirety of West Shore Road will be closed. West Shore Road will then be closed from Cleft Road south to West Main Street from 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. on Thursday July 18 and will resume on Sunday July 21 until Thursday July 25, followed by Sunday July 28 thru Thursday August 1st. This schedule has been designed to have minimal to no impact on weekend traffic or morning and afternoon rush hour travel times. Please note that the schedule may change depending on weather and/or construction issues that may come up.
