Be sure to contact us to register!**** Did you know our Divorce Support program provides assistance to women in Alexander, Burke, Caldwell and Catawba Counties? The emotional turmoil and very real fear of the future that accompanies a divorce or separation can be devastating, even debilitating, especially for women who have not been the family’s main source of income. To help women through this difficult transition, Women’s Resource Center offers divorce assistance for women in the form of the Legal Aspects of Separation and Divorce Workshop. This program is designed to educate women on how to evaluate their legal and financial choices during divorce. Topics covered include dividing assets, real estate and how to protect the financial and safety rights of women and children. A local attorney will facilitate this workshop. Registration is required and the cost is $5. Please call the Center at (828) 322-6333 to reserve your seat. Next Legal Aspects of Separation and Divorce Workshop to be held on Tuesday, November 11th, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Women’s Resource Center. This program is offered every other month.
