Reminding everyone how this site works: citizen journalism: George, the way this site works is that I/we raise questions and then seek to report them out. Or we post stories already in the news stream and seek to verify them. So yes absolutely, as we get more solid information the shape of the story we are pursuing often evolves. Many mainstream news stories have fallen apart under out scrutiny; others have just changed in details or focus. And I am transparent in updating and correcting when we get new information that fills out or makes obsolete old information. And I am transparent in immediately correcting when I have posted something that turns out not to be factual -- something that news sites too are supposed to do transparently and immediately. This account I just posted below of some possible funders for ISIS is not of course confirmed. It is one account that is preliminarily independently echoing two other well placed insider accounts. It is at this point only a hypothesis brought forward by several well-situated people in other parts of the world. It is not yet news.It may never be confirmed. Elements may be. A bad trend is immediate journalism, and a real story takes time to report out and changes in outline as new details emerge. Many other stories we have worked on here HAVE been confirmed and turned out to be far different from how they showed up on the MSM. Which raises the question of how well journalists are vetting before their stories enter the news stream. On this site, news is only CONFIRMED when we have two independent sources. We news in CONFIRMED we let you know publicly -- BINGO is how we do that. That is the system here…
