Reply to a question on ARRSE.CO.UK Matrix Games in the US have a forum where some of my scenarios have been used for game playing online and I posted a couple of maps there but they did not find much favour. He photographed the stretch of river and banks from a rather small boat and wanted me to point out the tree in question. He was not very happy with my reply How the **** should I know, its only ******* fiction! I lost a few readers when I finished the series, either with the ending or just because it was not going to carrying on with the resulting conflicts around the Spratlys and Tibet. Vietnam and Borneo with a young Lt Henry Shaw is next, and the Guards Depot, Trooping the Colour and Northern Ireland with Guardsmen Probert, Osgood and Tessler follow after that, at least that is the plan once the overdue editing is complete.
