Replying to the Mark Yates post regarding Wilson Brewer Park (Bonebright Complex), There are now 6 museums in the complex, which is open May 1st through November 1st. Group tours can be organized for family reunions, class reunions, or other groups by contacting Cheryl Patrou, the Museum Coordinator, or Darlene Dingman, Class Reunion Tours contact person. Both are on Facebook. OR, contact Kent Harfst at Fuller Hall. The rock purportedly a meteor was tested many years later and determined to be just an unusual rock. The items Mark remembers are still an important part of the Wilson Brewer Complex. There are lots of unique artifacts contained in all the museum buildings. Photos posted here are of: (1) The burial mound, including an old photo showing a picket fence once surrounding it. There is a rock path leading up to the graves. (2) The pump now located near the one-room school house museum. (3) The Bells Mills turbine which was indeed the place of the tragedy he mentions. (4) The two cabins which were the first museums created by Frank Bonebright in 1931, and (5) the meteor rock.
