Repost as this is needed immediately.. I can not house this dog as badly as I want to to wait and see if she is truly a missing pet.. it is not worth fighting with my father with when today has already been horrible. Everyone I have attempted to call as far as helping her is not answering- Im unsure if its my phone or what. Likely the holiday. She apparently is a chewer as dad just informed me she chewed something he literally just brought inside and walked away from for a few minutes.. I do not have the funds plus the combination of my health issues to tend to her, especially if she is going to require more toys than I can give at the moment (which is not fair to her at all). My currently unaltered male is at the end of his lead trying to get at her and she has literally been mounting any and everything that smells of dog. With that said I cannot house a dog that may be going into heat or near such age and I am terrified if she does some how escape she will be tagged wether it be a stray or my own male. She is an absolute sweetheart and if it werent for my health and the holidays draining us money wise, this probably would not be an issue. No one is willing to help being the new years. At most I can house her one last night but any further and I dont know what I will do. Its just not worth bickering with dad over.. she is well mannered as far as the leash goes once she has warmed up. I do not mind giving every bit of detail I can on this dog if it means getting her temporarily homed to a proper home Now.
