Repost from our friends Body Evolution Fat loss has nothing to do with the following - ~ The food types you eat. ~ The time of day, amount and type of cardio you do. ~ The type of resistance training you do. ~ The supplements you use. ~ Your meal frequency. ~ The time of day you eat particular foods. Fat loss is first and foremost determined by your energy balance. Calories in Vs. calories out is THE determining factor. Worry about your meal frequency, food types, fasted HITT cardio and supplements all you like, BUT if you are not in a dietary calorie deficit you will not achieve fat loss. So get that in order first before you start looking at or manipulating anything else you best understand what your calorie balance is. -Thomas Major Gainz Fitness
