As of 5:00 PM today, July 15, 2014, the eye of typhoon GLENDA was located by PAGASA at 60 km East of Legazpi City (13.1N124.3E). Maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. The PDRRMC and all local DRRMO’s response activities were executed and are in place. Conducted continuous monitoring and consolidation of reports. 2. Released latest advisory in the suspension of all government offices to facilitate preparedness except those agencies involved in disaster response and issued corresponding advisories to the general public and local DRRMC’s for preparedness status. 3. Conducted continuous monitoring and consolidation of reports from local DRRMO’s. 4. Maintained 24-duty. PAGASA 1. Released periodic weather bulletin and continuously provided information to PDRRMC through APSEMO. PSWDO 1. Conducted packing of relief commodities for prepositioning and distribution to different LGUs. 2. Maintained stand by personnel at PDOC. PNNAVFORSOL 1. Deployed M35-06 with DRRU trailer and 23 personnel to Polangui, Albay. PAFTOG5 1. Two-eight man SAR team on standby and ready for deployment. 2IB PA, 9ID 1. 10 6X6 trucks deployed for evacuation and one unit of Forward Support Medical Platoon (9th ID). 2. Deployed personnel (1 squad) with KM450 in Polangui, Ligao City and Tabaco City. 3. Maintained personnel at PDOC. 4. Conducted monitoring of evacuation of Jovellar, Guinobatan and Sea Port of Pioduran andTabaco City a. Pioduran, RORO cancelled b. Tabaco City Port – i. strandedpassengers – 460 ii. truck-15 iii. light car 2 iv. bus - 3 LIBERTY COMMERCIAL CENTER 1. On standby, 25 closed van available for relief delivery. BFP 1. Deployed one SRU (15 personnel) equipped with land and water SAR equipment To Polanguito assist in the on-going evacuation PNP 1. Maintained personnel at PDOC. 2. Tiwi PNP station rescued one five fishermen from Catanduanes and are all in good physical condition. 3. Deployed one RMG team from RO5 (9 personnel) equipped with one vehicle and rubber boat to Polangui to assist in the on-going evacuation PEO 1. Deployed and stationed four dumptrucks at PDOC-PSWD for relief distribution. 2. Two road clearing teams on standby. 3. Other personnel on standby ready for deployment.
