Republican conservatives are now hysterical in pushing for a travel ban, an unscientific way to combat Ebola, and this is the same party that has the record of making drastic cuts in the funding of scientific research, and has many members who are climate-change deniers. And this party is going to win back the control of the US Senate in November and will increase its numbers in the House. And we thought Philippine politics is strange.
