Research Assistant Location: Central Qualification : Degree holder Availability: Immediate Jobscope: • Support in developing and managing online surveys of teachers; • Data entry work (if necessary); • Note-taking for focus group discussions and transcribing of audio recordings, if necessary; • Liaison with schools and collation of feedback on lessons used in intervention programme; • Conduct relevant literature review • Research on ideas for training resources for training of teachers involved in intervention programme; • Developing accompanying resources for lessons used in the intervention programme; • Coordination with schools for collection of data; • Data cleaning and data coding; • Conducting data analyses – quantitative and qualitative; • Preparation of reports and presentations; and • Organisation of information and databases in project. Requirements: • Bachelor in Social Sciences, Psychology, or related degree. • Has knowledge of statistical analyses tools/software used in research, such as SPSS. • Shows experience with quantitative research work. • Past experience with quantitative or qualitative research would be added advantage. • Some programming language knowledge would be helpful • Strong analytical skills • Preferably good in writing research and literature review reports • Committed, responsible and independent, good communication and interpersonal skills.
