Residents of St. Louis County, We do not normally give out endorsements, but this one race in particular has some importance. Of the two major political parties on the August 5th primary ballot, there are 4 candidates running for St. Louis County Executive. 1 of those candidates voted to raise your sales tax in the Missouri legislature this year, while the other two support Amendment 7. (R) - Rick Stream voted to raise your sales tax in the Missouri legislature. (D) - Steve Stenger and Charlie Dooley support Amendment 7. We are excited to announce our organizations endorsement of Tony Pousosa for St. Louis County Executive. Tony has told No MO Sales Tax that he is not only opposed to Amendment 7, but he also favors cutting sales tax or eliminating sales tax across the state.
