Resigning from the Aquino Administration is like a Filipino soap opera; the plot being inordinately used is predictable. When a cabinet member who gets involved ( alleged or otherwise) in a controversy or an anomaly, tends a revocable resignation, the president will easily reject it. If Sec. Abad et al have a genuine intent to resign, why dont they tend an irrevocable resignation? And if President Aquino is sincere to please his bosses ( according to him, the masses) who lost their confidence and trust in the infamous personality, why doesnt he accept the resignations? For sure, there is not a short list of capable people who can replace the besieged cabinet secretaries that the president insists on keeping. One cant help but think that maybe, there is a tinge of truth in the insinuation of other sectors that there is a hidden agenda behind the presidents rejection of the bogus resignations. I wish that unlike a tele-novela that only ends when the rating dips due to diminishing viewers, the president will wake-up and become decisive before he lost all his followers. If there is no hidden agenda.
