Rest In Peace Baba Chithappa.. How do I say Goodbye? Im Nowhere Near to letting go.. How do I come to terms with the loss of one that I loved so.. So many times you took me to the latest movie show & Gladly let me tag along wherever you go.. Out in the patio every morn you quietly sing the songs of yester years.. told great stories of kings and queens.. of festivals and celebrations .. all while sweeping the yard & cleaning the Family well. How many years ive seen you feed and milk the cows teaching me the value of life.... Youve cooked & fed me like a child even after I had 2 of my own. Thank god my children are blessed to be held by you. You taught me values.. of family, traditions, culture & pride.. Just to appreciate the simple things in life. You helped me to believe in me when others seemed to doubt & encouraged me to use my heart & mind for figuring things out. You told me truths about myself, urged me to stretch and grow You made all the difference Oh Lord I hope you know Even now you saw me as your little girl, with such loving eyes Never once made me feel any less. I hope you recall the times ive said that my life, you have blessed.. But uncle, I can rejoice today In knowing you are free.. you are in a prescious place with God & My mother, Just because you loved me... Until We meet again chiththappa...
