Rest In Peace Grandad x I am so happy I had the chance to be in Cayman last summer and spend time with him and being able to just drive round to his house and see him sat out on his porch with his music playing on the radio, looking so kool. Times like these were few and far between but I am so grateful that he was able to see me as a grown man, coming home with my girlfriend to meet him lol. He laughed at seeing small, trivial things like me driving now and how tall I had got. I havent got a massive selection of memories of us both together throughout my lifetime, due to me growing up so far away from him. But the memories I do have are so rich and will never leave me. Just 1 year and a few months ago he was climbing a coconut tree with a machete and telling me not to do it incase I hurt myself! lol. Oh god I love You. I just wish I was in the position to do a lot more. Never once throughout his whole ordeal, over the phone, did he ever mention to me or talk about his cancer, he would just say i have a bit of pain, but im alright. He was always looking ahead to the next day and what it may bring. He fought so hard and just when you thought he was down he got back up again. Grandfather you were such an inspiration to me. I wish I could just give my mum a hug right now. You did all you could for him and I am so proud of you. I am proud of and love all of my Cayman family and my thoughts are with each and every one of you. But to all of my family in Grand Cayman and Jamaica please do me a favour and keep yourselves okay! Neither my heart or my wallet can afford to see you ill! x x x
