Rest in peace LCDR Charles R. Combs. The impact of your leadership lessons and mentorship are immeasurable when you take a step back and attempt to approximate the thousands you influenced. I can say that for myself, you were one of a small few who helped me not only get into, but be successful at West Point and more importantly, grow as a Leader. Ive taken what I learned from you on two deployments to Afghanistan and Ill implement your teachings once again when I take command in a few more months. Thank you for everything sir. Well done.
