Restaurant Review: My friend and I have been able to eat out on 3 occasions in the past 2 weeks. Here is what weve discovered. Lunch at the New Jasons Deli- 1/2 muffaletta, large salad and a cup of soup each made enough food for 2 meals each. Food was delicious Service fast and friendly total cost for the 2 of us $26. Place number 2 the Wheelhouse for a Red Hat Luncheon. Server was friendly efficient patient with 8 old ladies. the 2 of us each had the Shrimp PoBoy I paid a dollar more to have crawfish as well and I got a piece of pie. While the french fries were good,Sandwich was small as PoBoys go not many more crawfish for my dollar The pie was mostly crust very little filling, not much flavor and after I had ordered the pie, I found out the desserts are not made in house they are purchased from a supplier. Verdict. $20 is too much for a lunch that tastes so-so. Dont think Ill be going back. Place is casual and all but Im not really interested in dining in an industrial looking icehouse with not casual prices. Third place was Willy burgers. We got huge burgers and sweet potato fries for $20 The burgers were delicious and so big we only ate half and saved the rest for tomorrow Will definitely be going back!
