Restoration - its messy! Last week i was in Athens Greece and the city has been restoring the Parthenon since 1975 and same will not be completely restored until 2025. (this building was built in 5th Century BC) Restoration is messy and problematic because trying to stick to the architects original character and design isnt nearly as easy and quick as it would be just building an entire new one. In our spiritual lives the principle is no different. I am returning myself until the Original design and architecture that God had originally ordained for my life and i assure you that doing my own thing in many ways would be much easier but I am destined to be restored to that Original design that He created. If it takes the rest of my life; if i dont reach it until im 70 Im going to reach it! Moses was 80 before he led the children of Israel out of Egypt. Abraham was 100 when Issac (the Promised son ) was born. Keep pursuing the Providential Will of God. As long as you are in pursuit, it doesnt matter what you have or havent done, what sin you have committed, or even how old you are, you are no disqualified persons to fulfill every promise HE ever intended for your life! /dh
