Chris Caldwell won the hurdles 7.74 and Bahamian World Youth champion 2011 Latario Collie-Minns improved to 16.80 in the triple jump. GENEVA (USA, Mar 8): Dontaey Page won the 60 m at NAIA Championships in 6.72 and Jamaican Jura Levy women sprint double 7.35 and 23.56. LOS ANGELES (USA, Mar 8): Venezuela clocked at Cal State Invitational 3:05.98 in the 4x400 m and Freddy Mezones won the individual 400 m in 46.26. Hurdles world champion Lashinda Demus won the flat 400 m in 52.73. BOSTON (USA, Mar 8): At IC4A/ECAC Championships Hungarian David Fajoyomi won the high jump with 223 clearance. SAO PAULO (BRA, Mar 8): At open meet before the South American Games good sprints as Jorge Henrique Vides clocked 10.28 (+1.6) and Jefferson Lucindo 10.30. In the 4x100 m Brazil achieved 39.36. KINGSTON (JAM, Mar 8): Day one of the Jamaican Carifta Games Trial saw Raheem Chambers and Kimone Shaw, both of St Jago stole the show. Chambers displayed a blistering 10.28 seconds in +0.9 wind; Akeem Bloomfield and Chad Walker posted 10.42 and 10.45 respectively for the under-18 segments. Shaw posted 11.55 in girls 100 m. The under-20 boys saw good showing from Jevaughn Minzie 10.40 Raheem Robinson 10.48 and Jordan Chin came in with 10.49 on a +0.2 wind. Jonielle Smith with a late burst topped the girls under 20 100m in 11.44 seconds, just ahead of Diana Johnson and Kedisha Dallas, both 11.47. From Trackalerts.
