Retired Fire Captain Chuck Menne passed away Sunday afternoon June 22,at Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital from invasive cancer. Chuck was a long time Fire Captain assigned to various stations in the old Sonoma Ranger Unit with many years spent at the Glen Ellen station. He was also the dispatcher at the Sonoma ECC. Chuck was a founding member of the Sonoma Crab Feed and I’m sure most of you will remember him as your “friendly bartender” at the event. He was quite the character and will be greatly missed.
