Retreat Schedule June 4, 5, 6 and 7 First Deposit is due March 13 - $50.00 Second Deposit is due April10 - $100.00 Final Payment due - $50.00 Deposit is refundable up to two weeks prior to the retreat. Come and enjoy 4 days of quilting, friends and relaxing. We will focus our retreat on lots of quilting time, reconnecting with old and new friends, no cooking, no chores, or any of the normal demands of every day duties. Things to Bring: Everyone needs to bring: sewing machine, sewing machine manual, rotary cutting equipment, rulers, desk light (if you have one), cushion to sit on (if you require one), extension cord/power bar, and all project supplies, your smiles and cheerfulness. Sleeping bag, Pillow, Towel/Face Cloth, Flashlight, rubber boots Accommodations Mint Brook Camp 10 Cabins with Bunks; two female showers along with two male showers. Meals Three delicious poked meals per day along with snacks, coffee and tea will be served throughout the day. Extra Amenities Beautiful walking trail, canoe, take a dip in the brook “if you dare”, games room if you want to take a break from quilting, beautiful grounds. We will have free reign of the venue so that you can quilt in your PJs into the night, or when you can’t sleep, or you wake up at 5;00 am you can quilt to your hearts content. Big Conference Hall with ample tables and plug ins to quilt. We will supply the ironing boards/irons/and large cutting mat. Thursday Evening - Meet and Greet and sew to hearts content after Friday Evening - Show and Tell and Best Apron Saturday Evening - Strip Poker Optional Items to Bring Finished or UFOs of projects for Trunk Show Individually wrapped fat quarter(s) for Fat Quarter Swap (for every fat quarter you bring in to put in box you take out that number in different fat quarters) if you bring in 6 you take out 6. 13 Strips WOF, 3” wide for “Strip Poker” 13 10” Squares, for “Square Poker” Bill Locke will be teaching a class throughout the weekend. This is optional. Details on this will follow. Best “Apron” contest. Use your imagination and lets see who can come up with the best apron for judging to win a prize. Quilting notions for tree (seam riper, thread, thimbles, measure tape, buttons, fat quarter, etc.) for every item you put on tree your name will go in a dew that number of times for a chance to win all items on tree.
