Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt - TopicsExpress

Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee (Psalm 116:7) The Beauty of our Christian walk lies in continually returning and abiding in our resting place: The Presence of God. We observe such frequent expressions by the Psalmists as they speak to their souls. When we face impossible situations, We ought to continually remind ourselves to enter into our rest and remind ourselves of the past victories that God has seen us through. The Lord has dealt bountifully with me and will continue to do so as i put my trust in Him. If you are in the eye of a storm or an impossible situation, you must make a conscious choice to seek God and His presence and declare: I will not let these circumstances control my life or my decisions. I will Trust in the Lord and not lean on my own understanding or evaluation of my circumstances. The Lord is my rock and will fight every battle for me. As i wait upon Him, I will renew my strength. I shall mount up with wings as eagles, I shall run and not be weary and I shall walk and not faint. The Lord will make every crooked path straight for me. The Lord has redeemed me and has called me by my name. When I pass through the waters, He will be with me, And through the rivers, they shall not overflow me, when I walk through the fire, I shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch me, For he has said to me: For I, the Lord your God holds your right hand. It is I who say to you. Fear Not, I am the one who helps you.
